Norman was born May 29, 1938 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The outstanding drummer has long been recognized as a Canadian jazz icon who emits a spirited passion that is both exciting and contagious to anyone within earshot. A native of Montreal, this veteran player has a successful career history spanning more than five decades. He made his home in Toronto for 30 years and I have had the good fortune to work with this spontaneous and fun-loving musician.
