    It was just as dawn was breaking and I had been up all night taking part in a 197 mile running relay from Mt hood to the Oregon coast. Traffic had a rare back up and we were at a stand still stranding our runners. No one had slept in over 24 hours and we had many more miles and hours to go. But standing there stranded I was able to take in the way the morning light was hitting the dense fog and how beautiful and serene the whole scene was. Something that would have been missed otherwise
