We accidentally happened across the Fiesta de Santa Eulalia while visiting Barcelona, witnessing a parade of children dressed as devils, their entire bodies covered, wearing masks and goggles, carrying whirling sparklers through the crowd. Here, an adult helps a child light their sparkler for another run through the plaza, as a shower of sparks fly behind them.
