A day starts in the Everglades
We set out to take pictures of the lunar eclipse. The night started with a full moon illuminating the Everglades for some lovely long exposures but as the eclipse started, the clouds came in. Typical Florida weather. We waited all night. The morning came and no pictures of the moon but nature rewarded us with this sunrise. At first, it looked like something out of this world. Some clouds were not lit, others were with varied colors. A mangrove in the distance is barely recognizable in the grass.
