Have rarely seen one of these birds much less got a decent shot of one. Drove to Viera Wetlands, Florida for some early morning shooting and this Caracara was sitting calmly on the top of tree. I thought for sure that as soon as I climbed out of the car it would take off. It did not. I photographed it over the roof of my car for a couple of minutes before it finally left.
