Humayun's Tomb in New Delhi, India
Summer in India is brutal but it does have a silver lining. It's a little less crowded giving you ample time to take pictures and explore even if you get there late.
Humayun was the second Mughal ruler in India and the great-grandfather of Shah Jahan. The tomb is a combination of Persian and Rajasthani architecture and was the first garden-tomb complex in India. The same type of architecture would be used in constructing the Taj Mahal.
