Thousands of pilgrims travel from all parts of the country to convene at the Ganges estuary, where they take an aupiscious dip in the holy waters. They stop over at the transit camps setup in Kolkata. I took this shot in one such camp. This man was travelling all the way from the state of Rajasthan, which is in the far west corner of the country.
