A mariachi musician contemplates the busy waters of Xochimilco. This part of Mexico City was once populated by the native Aztecs, who created floating gardens in the waters of Xochimilco. Today these waters are home to a massive fleet of brightly-painted boats that house festive groups of locals, tourists, and the occasional mariachi band.
