Ice roads in the Norwegian countryside
Having been away from Norway for Christmas, I arrived back in the small village of Grimerud for the weekend before taking a coach back to Ålesund. Before leaving Grimerud I got to explore the area which was flat compared to More og Romsdal and reminiscent of home in the English countryside. The main difference was the lingering thick layer of ice everywhere and the crisp, cold air. There are many farms in this area (as with much of rural norway) and much natural beauty.
