I snapped this photo of my husband on one of our favorite days of the year, Tour de Fat, during which the town is full of costumed bicyclists. Though a spontaneous shot, it captures my husband only too well. No matter what is going on, he always finds someone to help, he always comes "to the rescue," pulling people's cars out of snow banks, picking up other folks' litter, etc. Here, he's fixing a kid's bike in his thrift store tour de fat wedding dress.
