While traveling along my route photographing the Big 5 of Utah I had to go out on several cold nights to capture these night skies. Every star in the universe was visible. A loud owl was whooing from somewhere in the distance. Very few cars had driven by in this extremely cold and remote location. One came up to light up this shot for me. At first I didn't want my shadow in the picture but it was hard to keep it out. I just decided to stop fighting the universe and decided it was meant to be.
