Of late, I have been appreciating the aesthetic qualities of bunches of kelp washed up on the shore of the ocean. Here is another lovely abstract image of overlapping strands in a bunch of kelp that I held up to the sun for backlighting. HDR with the bracketed exposures merged using the 'creative' preset in Photomatix which enhances the detail and imparts a golden glow to the image.
