The Cautious Chameleon
This image was taken in Southern Mozambique. It was a cool evening, and the sun started its descent into the ocean nearby. Strolling down a path on my way to see the cerise sun, I saw a small chameleon. The first thing I noticed were the dark patches on its skin – interfering with its mellow, green coat. These dark patches indicated that the chameleon was spooked. I could not identify any sort of danger. But its cautious traipse through the dying evening, brought drama into the image I made.
