Smokey Girl was found in a shelter at the young age of 17 years old with severe arthritis. She could hardly move and the cold, concrete floor was making things worse. Young at Heart found her and rescued her. A friend fostered her for the next year and a half and showed her what love can do to heal. She was able to get up stairs on her own again - actually she insisted on doing it herself. She knew what it was like to play and smile again. She moved on in peace! So thankful for that!
