These five women were sitting together watching the festivities during the celebration of Ganesh. Every village (sometimes neighborhoods) come and gather to celebrate Lord Ganesh with delightful colors, events, parades and worship. Although I have been to India many times before, I had never been into the interior during these festivities. People young and old dance in the street regardless of the rain or heat. These ladies were just tickled to be photographed, for me it was an honor.
