Arctic Fjordland Shooting Star Aurora
"Arctic Fjordland Shooting Star Aurora, Bjørnsand, Vestvågøy, Lofoten, Nordland County, Norway" - An iconic symbol of the European North; the Western region of the Scandinavian Peninsula is covered with a vast network of rugged mountains and fjordland, (known as the "Kjølen," or "Scandinavian" mountains). A strong symbol to the Norwegian identity, the majestic and rugged coastal fjordland once attracted the Vikings, and has inspired Nordic lore and mythology for centuries.
