The real life dancing "left shark"
I knew the now infamous "left shark" long before he rocketed to fame on the Super Bowl halftime show with Katy Perry. I was hanging out with him in 2010, when I took this shot. His dance moves weren't any better back then.
All kidding aside, this is a male white shark, who was in the process of righting himself parallel with the surface after a vertical ascent. This shot always reminded of the old cartoon Jabber Jaw, because it looks like the shark is "standing" upright.
