Every year in Kohima, a small town in Nagaland, a remote area of the north east of india, all the local tribes gather to celebrate the HornBill Festival, a true explosion of colors, culture, tribal dances, chants and crazy food. Here's a portrait of an old head hunter from the Konyak tribe, still living in the mon region. Facial tattoos were traditionally made to all warriors who participates actively to the head hunt killing at least one enemy.
