    This Clock Tower symbolizes the interesting history in Sri Lanka dating back to the 19th century. This is roughly 4 storeys high and it is erected just inside the Fort, as a tribute to Peter Daniel Anthonisz who was a well renowned doctor in Ceylon/Sri Lanka.
