    Agnes Stowe crosses the Rio de las Vacas by mule from camp Casa de Piedra (3200-meters) enroute to Plaza Argentina (4200-meters) base camp on Aconcagua (6962-meters) in the Andes of Argentina. Our route took us on a traverse of the mountain from Plaza Argentina to Summit to Plaza de Mulas. Aconcagua is the highest peak in South America and is one of the Seven Summits.
