Red-crowned cranes and Elks
In winter, Red-crowned cranes would visit Akan-cho in Hokkaido(Japan) for getting food and protection. Volunteers would feed them with fish and tag them with vervels so they could be tracked. Local wildlives could benifit from these cranes too: Eagles would lurk around and rob the cranes of their food;
Elks would share the habitat so they wouldn't be bothered; Sometimes, foxs would show up too as the red-crowned cranes had helped Akan-cho become a paradise for wildlives in winter.
