    Reported by:

While visiting Melbourne, Australia, my father and I visited Hanging Rock - a 6.25 million year old rock formation that rises out of the surrounding countryside. I was immediately gripped by the mysterious awe of the place. There was a presence there I couldn't quite put my finger on, and I could understand why it was the setting for the unsettling 1967 novel 'Picnic at Hanging Rock'. I would love to go back.
