    Reported by:

A leopard shark swims through La Jolla cove, part of a Marine Protected Area (MPA). These sharks arrive in the area (almost all of them pregnant) in May or June and will stick around until November or so before heading off to other waters. The thought is they use the warm, calm shallow waters as an incubator to speed up their gestation rate.
