Pigeon Point Lighthouse
We drove towards Santa Cruz from San Francisco amidst storm warnings. It wasn't a smart decision. But we got more than lucky. We not only escaped the storm by a very narrow margin but also stopped at Pigeon Point Lighthouse to witness this breathtaking spectacle. The sky was full of floating clouds of every possible color gathering from the pacific in that brilliant evening light. This picture does not do justice to what we saw there. It was one of those "You should have been there" moments.
