The Colours Of Lives Once Lived
Regent Park is Canada's oldest and largest social housing project. Today the projects are being demolished to make way for a major revitalization. These exposed apartments reveal the colours of lives once lived. I framed this on a slight angle using my 50mm prime lens to create a sense of depth and disorientation. I also wanted the detail in the abandoned apartments and the juxtaposition between the plain white walls and the different coloured walls to come to life in the frame.
