I had noticed this older lady fiercely pushing her husbands wheelchair in the parking lot of the church. The parking surface was loose gravel and she was straining to push. She was followed by a woman relative and a young man, but she refused her offer to help. I was attracted to her defiant expression and I started taking pictures. When she hit the ramp to the church she slowed down first and started backsliding. She was saved by the relative. She never let the handles of the wheelchair go.
