Transformation
The main industry of a small city Kiviõli in Estonia is oil shale mining which waste products create huge semi-coke heaps around the city. The biggest of them is about 100m in high recently being transformed into skiing resort - the only one in region and the largest in the country.
This photo shows a man snowboarding down the hill, stopped to look at still working mining site behind the resort.
