I fly often, and if I have a window seat, I compulsively take photos out the window. I have become fond of skies that look like Color Field paintings. The transition of day to night produces the brightest images, but I enjoy the pale transition that makes sea indistinguishable from sky on a rainy day as well. The sliver of moon adds the finishing touch to this photo.
