The Potter
Taken in a village near Udaipur. This picture tells a story of a potter who was proud to show-off his magic clay pot. In the current economic climate in India - his relatively small pottery business only serves a few members of the local village. Large industries and mass produced homewares now lead the market. Pottery artisans such as himself, who have mastered ancient pottery making techniques are slowly dying away.
