I recently had the opportunity to photograph an annual Sailing Regatta in St. Maarten. The challenge was the most difficult I have ever experienced. In a split second one has to set the shot up, keep your footing on a motor boat that is racing in 6-8 foot swells beside the sail boats, keep your camera equipment dry from sea spray and smashing waves and most important try not to fall overboard while taking the shot.
