This particular road trip started in Solihull (4,600 miles from home). I left after glancing at google maps very briefly. It was an impromptu trip to Wales. I departed without any GPS, a cellular, or even a map. I had no intention of going to Lake Vyrnwy, but luckily stumbled upon a road I can only describe as a beautiful, enlightening, culture shock. The whole experience was amazing, and this friendly little robin was the climax. Also, I was listening to Velvet Underground the whole time.

Ryan took a trip to find surprises. Little planning just a vague idea of where to go. What a wonderful surprise to have this bird come along as a final coda to the trip.
