Shot taken during the flight between Alaska and Iceland, during summer. Flying over the Arctic Circle, close to the North Pole, I was fooled by the expectation of seeing the sun setting. I waited long, and night never came. Leaving at 3PM from Anchorage and arriving at 6AM in Reykjavik, this was the darkest I could see, and the colors in the sky made sure I never went to sleep.
