Reborn
The snow kept piling up all winter. Sometimes the sun would shine it's light on the surface and the snow would sparkle like a sea of diamonds. At night, by the street lamps light, the snow would twinkle as if a child emptied a truck full of silver and gold glitter into my backyard. But even the sun rays could not penetrate the stiff snow, frozen solid by the winter air. Yet, one morning I hear the drip of the snow melting from the roof and within days, greenery reenters our white world. Spring.
