When I reached Damnoen Saduak, an hour's drive from Bangkok, I was amazed to see that most of the rowing vendors were women. I took a vantage point above an over-bridge and waited for this lady to draw closer. I admired her brisk way of holding the oar and rowing along effortlessly. It's everyday business for her.
