I traveled to Iran with my family last summer. Yazd was the last place we visited and one of the most beautiful. This beautiful young girl caught my eye in a bazaar as she worked meticulously making violins. She was a college graduate and spoke fluent English, but what impressed me the most about her was her drive and determination to make a good life for herself in a place with very little opportunity currently. She was the #portraitofstrengh and had a passion for life.
