It was a scene that resulted in the car screeching to a halt in the nearest parking bay, and a mad dash to capture the light on the mountain before it quickly disappeared. No tripod (unknown for me!) and virtually no planning - a hasty, fleeting liaison and I just hoped and prayed I'd got it......
