Sunday is usually a lazy day for the kids and me, but I decided to go do my son's laundry. Nearby the laundry mat sits an empty lot that seems to be open to the public. My kids and I were walking over to take some pics when I began to notice small, fossilized shells on the ground. Now, I remember from geology class that Texas was once under lots of water so I took the opportunity to teach my kids a little about this subject. Good thing is, they love fossil hunting just as much as I do!
