In the past, I have painstakingly set up a set to photograph bubbles. I would mix oil and water in a clear, flat dish and place it over something colourful. Today, when I took my TV dinner out of the microwave, I saw that the condensation on the plastic covering made just as beautiful a pattern and there was no effort involved. By the way, it was glazed chicken and rice.
