Edit Photo Details Sunset, Valley of Fire SP (Nevada)   #sunset #landscape #nevada #valley_of_fire #red_rock #nevada_state_park
The rocks are the reddest at sunrise and sunset but the only area that gets light at sunset is around the highest points of the park (near Overton, NV, 90 minutes from Vegas). So I drove up and waited until the light was perfect. Vivid color mode in camera, and then color in Photoshop but the red light from the sunset did make the rocks very red.
