Delta-IV Launches GPS IIF-9 Satellite
Into the fog with the U.S. Air Force GPS IIF-9 satellite atop a ULA Delta-IV rocket on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The satellite marks number 9 launched of the 12-strong “Interim” Block IIF constellation of global positioning systems (GPS) for the Dept. of Defense. Thick fog blanketed Launch Complex-37, a rare thing for Florida's "Space Coast" in the middle of the day.
