While visiting my ancestral homeland in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, I came upon this tire swing in the back yard of the Manse house of the old Auchterless Free Church. An abandoned house and crumbling ancient church, this swing was the only sign of life on this property. It seemed very lonely, wanting someone to come play with it! I love the splashes of sunlight scattered across the grass in this shot.
