    Creating a photograph can be like creating another world. With all that science has taught us, it's still seems like something of a mystery to me. In the process of cleaning out years of paperwork, much of which needed preparation for shredding, I had to remove the wire spiral bindings from more than a few large daily appointment books. Seeing them all in a pile made me want to experiment. I took many photographs until well after dark, then used flashlights, not photo editing.
