Reliable Spring Indicator
Today, Easter Sunday, I finally got a subject in my garden for this year. This is flavus ' Golden Yellow', it's in the Iridaceae, (Crocus), family. At 4 inches, (~10cm), in height it's one of the most reliable indicators of spring in my area. - Calendar dates don't help much, we got 5 inches of snow the day after spring's "start date".
