My first visit was just 2 months earlier. I returned to capture the fall colors but was fortunate to also capture the first snow. I drove down on Nov 4th and it was Fall and I woke up on Nov 5th and was blessed with the most beautiful landscape after an overnight snow fall. I awoke when it was still dark and drove around the valley floor, stopping at the various view points. Nothing but beauty all around! (HDR image due to extremes in lighting - may seem surreal but so was the view.)
