The Path to Wilderness
On what was a warm July day turned into a cold, foggy afternoon, and although the damp felt like it was seeping into our bones, we bravely continued taking pictures. It wasn't until we got home and had a chance to reflect that I found this photo. It made me think that although the fog changed rapidly, the tree remained. I love visiting mountains because they are ancient. The Pryor Mountains are so remote, that it often feels like visitors are stepping back in time. Mountains show life as it was.
