Mother Tree
I read about Yggdrasil the world tree and Norse mythology in college. And I've always liked the Tree of Life Celtic knot. But I wasn't sure how to show what it means to me. I took my dog, Lexi, for a run on Wisconsin Point. As I drove down a road I've been on a thousand times before, I saw this huge tree I hadn't really noticed before. I parked my car at the next spot and walked back to take a closer look. It was gorgeous, stretching out in all directions like a mother reaching for her children.
