    In 2002 the eruption of Mount Papandayan destructed some nearby vegetations. Its cause dead forest in some areas of volcano and only remaining tree trunks. Now, some vegetations started to grow again. One of them is Vaccinium varingiaefolium, this plant can be found at an altitude of 1500-3300 meters above sea level.
