    Though it was a few days beyond the peak of cherry blossoms, it was still a beautiful day for an early-morning walk around the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. This photo shows one of the more than 3,500 cherry trees located around the basin as well as a nice view of the Washington Monument and its reflection.
