I took this photo on the banks of the Platte River south of Omaha, NE during the early morning hours of March 26, 2015. A communication error left me out of bed and ready to drive my mother-in-law to the airport for an early departure. I took the opportunity to drive out to the river to photograph our home galaxy. This tree provided an interesting foreground object and seemed to have a unique story of its own. If trees could talk, what would they say? 16 mm Rokinon lens at f/2.0.
