Campesina Peru is located high on the altiplano in southeastern Peru. We met with the villagers in September 2015 to discuss projects they are working on with the Chijnaya Foundation. I photographed these women, capturing three generations, during our meeting and was taken by their expressions, dignity, and intense color of their clothing and surroundings.
